I love games that have lot's of recruitable characters, it makes the game more interesting.... plus you aren't stuck with 7 characters that you absolutely hate.. you get a wide variety of who you like and want to use all of the time!

•Chrono Cross - You can recruit 45 characters to help you on your quest.
•Dark Cloud 2 - Has city members you need to recruit, and add to a new town made by the player.

• Shards of Magic - Mobile game with six man party, and similar Suikoden feel.

•Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne - You can have up to 11 monster characters in your party at the same time, totaling 12 characters including the main character.

•Unlimited Saga - Each hero can recruit certain characters, including one other hero character.
