My Account Got Deleted??

A few days ago, I made a Listography account. Some Twitter friends had one, and I was really interested in it. I figured this is perfect, I had plenty of lists on my old Zetaboards forum, that I could transfer over. Since Zetaboards closed down, and turned into Tapatalk. (Which deletes inactive sites after 30-90 days).

On Listography, I added a profile bio, an avatar (A drawing of mine.) I made one list of all my accounts on other sites, such as Deviantart, Twitter.. etc..
I had to go to bed for work the next morning, although I wanted to continue, I had to stop.

So fast forward a few days later, today. I was like, oh man, let me go look at my Listography, and add more to it! When I read "User not found". I was like huh? How can that be? There must be an error! I look around, maybe I'm on the wrong profile, I check my emails to see if there was something about account deletion. I find nothing.
I snoop around, and I find the Listography main page.

"Our spam detector automatically deletes suspicious accounts. To avoid deletion: MAKE introductory lists, DO NOT link to shady websites, DO NOT create multiple accounts, DO NOT create an account that is AD-like. Suspected spam accounts are deleted within one week and not retrievable."

I was like, are you kidding me?? I had a real bio, and all the sites I linked to, were Twitter, Deviantart, etc.. and not shady sites.. but somehow, their program must have picked it up, and deleted me! (There goes an hour of logging into my accounts, down the drain!)
At first I thought I'd make another one, but I thought, it could happen again, so I'd rather not. It's a shame, I really liked the way Listopgraphy had everything, but I'm not risking wasting my time for something that might get deleted again. This is just bad consumerism, if I'm using that in the right context.

My advice for Listography, and any site that uses an automatic bot deletion program.

•  Hire volunteers to check out profiles, there are people who will do it for free. (Since it's made by people who made the site for fun, and not a company.)
Back in the old days of the early 2000's, there were plenty of people who volunteered their free time to help run websites,  I don't see why people wouldn't do that now. (Especially good for people wanting to get a marketing/social media job in the future, it could even count as job experience.)
If the bot detection program (BDP), spots a suspicious profile, a volunteer could check the profile out to see if it is a bot, or just a little innocent ol' me, just starting a new account. This gives real new users a chance to actually save their account, and redeem themselves.

The third twitter I ever made, is named Esmeralda'sdildo, which is based off a character I made. It was banned for two years, because  I was lazy and didn't do anything to save it. I sent them an email saying I was just a person using the account for a character, and they lifted the ban. The account got banned through their bot detection system, but at least it wasn't deleted!

Get a bot verification program. You know when you log in/sign up for a site, and it asks if you're a bot, and makes you type in words/letters from a picture? "3d5h8s"

Email accounts that get deleted. It should be easy enough to set a program up, that will at least email the user, saying their account was deleted. This way they aren't in the dark, like me.

Hopefully, there's another site that's similar, that doesn't have a program that just wipes things out. If not, I'll just continue to make lists on blogger, like I was doing in the first place!

Esmeralda, Esmeralda and.. well... Esmeralda!

In honor of my character Esmeralda, which you can see stories I've made. Here and the tags on this blog, Here.

This is a very simple blog post in appreciation to characters named Esmeralda! (And any similar variation. Sorry Ogsmelda, you're not included.)

Let's start off with the most popular Esmeralda, from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Hunchback of Notre Dame

Name: Esmeralda
Series: Hunchback of Notre Dame (Movie), Kingdom Hearts (Game).
Title: Gypsy
The deuteragonist of Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Shards of Magic

Name: Esmerelda
Series: Shards of Magic (Video Game)
Title: Healer
Esmerelda is a dragon with an affinity for wind; she is good friends with the Lancer character and helps allies by healing them.

Dungeon Link

Name: Esmeralda
Series: Dungeon Link (Video Game)
Title: Knife Juggler
Weapon: Knives?

A knife juggler, who can copy another characters special attack as her own.

(Shards Of Magic & Dungeon Link are for IOS & Android.)

Suikoden

There is Esmeralda from Suikoden. Who was the inspiration to my own character with the same name!

Name: Esmeralda
Series: Suikoden (Video Game)
Title: Narcissist
Esmeralda, a narcissistic woman living in an inn, in the town of Antei. She joins the hero once you retrieve an opal for her.
She is the most useless character in the game, she does have a pretty dress though...
When creating a Suikoden story with my friends, my friend gave the idea of a crazy version of Esmeralda. That was when my own Esmeralda was born, I liked her so much, that I started to brand her off as a separate person.

Saint October

Name: Esmeralda
Series: Saint October (Anime)
Title: "Evil" Villain.. Chi Chi Chi!!
Weapon: Whip

Then, there is Esmeralda from the anime "Saint October". She is probably my favorite fictional Esmeralda, that is not my own character, she's just so strange and funny! A villain that was hired to fight the good guys; she's a total wacko who loves to say "Chi Chi Chi" instead of actually laughing. She also has a thing for the one priest guy, which can be really funny at times.

I know that the name field was pointless, but to be fair, the dragon Esmerelda's name is spelled differently!

Interesting Facts
1. Most characters with the name Esmeralda are associated with the colors Pink, Purple or Green.
2. Upon looking for other characters named Esmeralda, many anime characters named Esmeralda all have Blonde hair. Check this out & and this.
3. Esmeralda's seem to be very prim, proper, royalty or narcissistic, and weird.
4. Some tend to be performers, like Dancers or Circus Performers.

Now kids, remember this, because I'll be sending out a 1000 question quiz, about characters named Esmeralda, so don't forget! Make sure to study! 😜

Different Ways to spell Esmeralda!

1. Esmeralda
2. Esmerelda
3. Esmyrelda
4. Esmirelda

How to win an argument on the internet

I'm here to tell you how to win an argument on the Internet, even if you don't actually win.

First off, check out the prequel to this post here.

Recently, I caused World War 5 on social media between a few people that I know. I was neutral on the subject, but my friends were not! A war broke out between them! It was 2 against 1.
I didn't side with anyone, as I was not getting involved what so ever! So, I gathered information and found out what had happened and I kept my opinions to myself because I didn't want to start another war! Plus, I just wanted to know what happened between my friends on the site.
Regardless who I thought was right or wrong, there was one key factor! There was one thing that all three people did wrong, and I'll tell you what it was. They all flamed each other; they used nasty, derogatory insults to each other. Now, what I was thinking is this, if they had used intellect, wits and logic, they most likely wouldn't have had a fight in the first place.

Tip

• A common mistake about Internet arguments, is to get heated! Never get heated; use your logic and strong powerful words of knowledge and wisdom to win the fight appropriately.

What NOT to do

• Flame the other person and or use nasty insults.

What to do

• Use good words, be respectful and use facts and even links to good sources to back your claims.
• Agree to disagree, be polite and courteous to someone you disagree with.

Example

Now, here are my non existent, lovely assistants here, to point to you, the examples on how to win and not to win an argument over the Internet.

What not to do

Post

I think the abandoned ghost tower should be safe and supervised so no one gets hurt! Tourists and villagers alike want to explore it without worrying about injuries.
It's a good tourist attraction with lot's of interesting history behind it.

You iz stupid, if idiots want to get hurt by bein' stupid fo' going somewhere dangerous, then get hurt!

 I can feel my head!

Who invited this freak?! Get a life ya ugly looser! Ya'll are stupid, you iz gunna die if you go to dangerous spots!

How to argument correctly

I think guns should be legal, we just have to have stricter gun laws, preventing guns getting in the wrong hands.

Although I don't agree with guns being legal, I see your points in your argument.
We may never come to an agreement, but I understand your opinions and I hope you understand mine.

Although I disagree with your stance, I understand where you are coming from. We disagree with each other, but I think we both have valid points on our argument and I respect your opinion as you do mine.

I want a pet lobster!

See, what I'm trying to get across is this... instead of going psycho on someone because you don't agree with another person.... use proper wording, intellect and sense in the argument you're trying to get across; the most important thing is to respect the other person! No flaming and no rude words!
Even if the other person is nasty the whole time; if you're respectful and nice, it'll show others that you're the bigger and better person!

Someone at work called me ugly!

But you are ugly!

You're not ugly! You're beautiful just the way you are! Besides, it's what's inside that counts! Obviously, they are ugly on the inside!

U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi, you ugly, yeah yeah, you ugly!

Don't listen to them haters, it says more about them than it does you.

Thanks guys! I won't take others harsh words to heart, I know that just by being a better person, that I am better than them.

I like tomatoes!

By using your smarts, being respectful and courteous you'll win the argument; even if you're wrong. The best thing we can do when we are wrong, is to understand that you were wrong in the first place and understanding is the most important thing. We have to be open minded enough to also understand when we aren't correct, and then changing our thoughts in the process to know what is right and what is incorrect.

Tomatoes are Vegetables!

Actually, Tomatoes are a fruit.

Oh, ok. Tomatoes are a fruit!

BITCH! You are a fruit! A fruit-loop!

Make sure to always back up your facts! Links  and scientific studies can always be helpful.

Here's my research on why a Tomato is a fruit.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomato

Here's what I found on why you're a looser!

Last, but not least, don't be a, lame llama! This may or may not be related to the topic at hand, I just really wanted to say that.... #don'tjudgemeho

Don't block the VENTilation

71 lemons were murdered to make this picture...

As they say, when life gives you lemons, make beef stew!
Or was that just from the Andy Milonakis show. ; o

I've been recovering from having a crush on someone. Basically, I've never felt this way for anyone before, and then I found out the guy I liked was straight, of course I have to get over him. But the problem is, when I talk about him, people are just like, "You need to get over him", and I'm just like "O rly?". Because last time I checked, you were not in my head, so you have no idea what's going on with me right now.

Maybe I need someone to vent to!
(Just like the fact that any time I like a guy, I find out they're straight...)

I feel like some people are not really grasping the subject here, I really liked this guy, and no maybe I never dated him and sure I don't know him that well, but I really genuinely liked him and I've never had someone on my mind 24/7 before. Because of him I could not focus on my creative projects, (such as my Esmeralda story), I could only think about him. He was on my mind all of the time, and when I would get to see him, I would feel comfortable, safe, just happy, and like nothing bad could ever happen when around him. When I was away from him, I would feel like something was missing, and I just could not hold the anticipation of seeing him again.
I also thought that if I could get with him, that he could actually become a muse for me and help me get inspired for my creative projects.

Don't forget about me now! Esmeralda will not stand for this incompetence over a boy! Get my story done yo!

But I feel like everyone's thinking, "oh I just thought he was hot", and that was it. Sure that's easy to get over (More than likely). But that's not what happened, in fact I didn't even think he was attractive when I first saw him! I was like, he's eh, but he has some nice arm porn going on there! (I call guys with muscular arms, arm porn.). It wasn't until he introduced himself to me, and I shook his hand, that all of a sudden I felt something. After I had met him, I had this huge flow of energy over me and all of a sudden I was addicted to him, like he was some kind of drug or something.
When he introduced himself to me, I felt like our souls connected to each other, and after that I was attracted to him. As I got to know him, I found out that we had almost everything in common! We had the same opinions, it's almost like I found myself in him. I just felt like we were In sync (Not to be confused with the band :P), like we just got each other and that it just worked. I 100% honestly thought I had met my soul mate, I just felt like he was made for me. There were many clues that I found the universe was giving me, that made me believe we were meant to be together. An image popped in my head that showed a red string attached to each other, which usually means destined to be lovers, this is a psychic experience I had..(Of course this depends on whether you believe in psychic powers or not. Check this link out if you're curious. Click this!)  that was actually one of the big reasons why I thought it was different this time. Not to mention, normal people do not have their mind on an attractive person 24/7, usually it means something else...
The interesting thing was, when I was into him, I was not attracted to anyone else anymore. Even famous actors like George Eads were un-attractive to me, which is crazy because I've always thought he was the hottest guy on the planet! ( I still think he's hot, no matter what age he is too!

Your existence, is my drug of choice!

It wasn't until almost two months later, that my friends told me he was straight, and had a girlfriend, after that I was actually depressed for 4 days and I was even nauseous for a little while. I literally felt heartbroken, like everything started to make sense in the world, and then it was all shattered, I just felt empty inside... No I never got with him, but the more I got to know him, the more I cared about him, and the more of an amazing person I found him to be!

Won't be needing this anymore.

Keep in mind, that any other time I found out a guy was straight, I was just like. Oh whatever, happens all the time, and I would move on. But because I felt like this time was different, that I connected with this guy on such a strong level, I thought it was different this time!
The more I got to know him, the more I realize he would be the perfect guy for me if he wasn't straight!

Falling for a straight guy, is a big time bummer. Especially since there aren't as many options for LGBT, since more straights in the world exist than gays..
Sure, maybe I am upset he is not bi like I thought, because I liked him and I hate being wrong. Which also makes me wonder if I even have a bi-dar at all.....
Yes, I have to get over him because he is not into guys, and yes after I realized he was straight, I did notice he was just an overly friendly person and that's why I also thought he was flirting with me.
He's just a really nice person that talks to everyone, and asks random questions about if I like sports or if I cook, and how Pyrex is a better cooking brand than Anchor...
But getting over someone takes time, and to be fair I'm probably taking it better than other people would have!
Although, on a side note, I even had a ship name for us! (For those of you who don't know, a ship name is when you pair two people together in a romantic relationship and mash their names together. So for instance, everyone likes the characters Dean and Castiel from Supernatural; everyone wants to see them get together and fall in love.. so everyone calls their ship name Destiel.)

Waiting for my ship to come in...

At one point, I was afraid that maybe I was infatuated with him. I was afraid that thinking about him 24/7 and always just wanting to be around him was something else.. It's called something similar to an attack in Chrono Cross called Luminaire.

After 10 minutes, I found it! The word is Limerence, which is an infatuated love. I was worried I had that instead, but when I checked out the symptoms, I did in fact not have it. (Or did I?)
So I really don't know what it is that I have/had, since it's not Limerence. I really can't explain it, why do/did I think about someone so much if they would never be into me? I find myself to be an open minded person, and sane enough to move on, so I know I don't have Limerence.
Luminaire, Limerence, almost the same thing! lol omg they both have 9 letters!

I'm going through the phase now where I am getting over him, and I still want to be his friend because he's still a really cool guy, and honestly I don't really have straight guys for friends, so it would be nice to have a new edition since 99.9% of my friends are all straight girls, or gay boys. (I still want a lesbian bff tho, I am taking applications ladies...)

Since I found out he was straight, I was able to get over him, but also take my feelings for him and then just lock them up. Now I don't find him attractive anymore, and I don't get all of the warm fuzzy feelings I had for him before. I still look at his nice arms because I just love me some good arm porn ok, don't judge me ho!

Like I used to have an over 9000 crush on him, but now it's like a .05%. The crush I had on him, it's almost completely gone now, as I am moving on.
Although I don't know why those things happened to me spiritually, it could mean something could change in the future, or maybe as my friend and I had both thought. Maybe I was connecting with him through someone else. Maybe he knows/knew the guy I'm supposed to end up, and that's what I felt when I met him. Maybe I just felt that he was going to become a good friend, who knows.. only the future can tell.

(Which did not happen, he did not want to be friends on Facebook)

Now, anytime I talk about him, I seem to get shushed. Even if I just say I want to see him more so I can become friends with him and I'm like.. could you not? Like obviously you don't know how I felt about him, but not only do you need to understand I am getting over him, but also that I'm still going to talk about him regardless..... shushing me just means I can't seem to talk to you about it.. which is fine because some other friends are in the know and they don't mind if I talk about him.
But I find that when you don't understand something, there's just no use explaining because they just won't get it. No matter how many times you try, sometimes explaining something to someone is like beating a dead horse, you just won't get anywhere.
People can't seem to grasp the concept that I am moving on, but I still want to have him in my life because he's a cool person.
Not to mention, you still need to vent about things and it's important to vent. Now if I was crushing on someone and they weren't in my life anymore and I was still thinking about them 6 months from now, then I would worry about someone if that was their problem.

Meanwhile I have new standards, I'll date someone 2-3 years younger than me, mostly hairless is a plus, muscles is always a good thing!
The guy that I've been talking about is actually 2 years younger than me, and I'm shocked because I've always liked older guys, and it kind of freaks me out that he's younger than me... But I was ready to go for it anyways, and not be a superficial ho.
But he also has almost a hairless body which I love, I am not a hair person. He is also about the same height as me, so that's a good thing. I'm starting to think it's a good thing to date or want to date someone that is the same, or just about the same height as you, it just seems to work better. Not that you can't, but I feel like that's just a new preference for me.

And yes I am getting over him, because when I was into him, I wasn't into anyone else.. (Even George Eads... whaaaaat)  but my attraction to other guys is coming back, so I know that I am losing my attraction to him because I know I can't have him, even if he is legit the perfect guy for me.

At the same time, I've also learned a few things from liking him. I wanted to learn to dance, to get his attention. Although he never saw me dance, but now that I don't have someone to dance for, I like dancing, and I dance for my friends.. (Which I was also shushed for by someone when I told them that, they did mention I can dance for someone else, of course.)

It's all a process really, and if this happens to someone else as it happened to me. You just need time, that's what everyone needs to get over anything really! If someone is going to be a butt about it, just don't talk to them about it anymore because they don't understand what you're going through!

I made a follow up post So much wasted time

What is Intelligence?

Person: I want to honestly ask you guys something- what do you think "smart" means? i think it's unfair to judge how smart someone is by how much education they've received. What do you think?"

Drawing is of my character Esmeralda.

One could say intelligence is being well rounded in every form of education, but at the same time, we all have our weak points too. I always tell everyone that I am stupid when it comes to math, which is true. Maybe a truly smart person is someone who can and is willing to learn, but can also adapt to difference in opinion, learn things they don't understand and can accept change. As for me, I've started to realize that "Eat" is a strange word,  just let it sink in for a second. I think intelligence is also questioning things that we already know, and also understanding that sometimes things aren't what they seem.
Intelligence is knowing the difference between right and wrong, it's knowing when you're right and when you're wrong. It's when you can accept yourself for who you are, and accepting other people for who they are.

What do you think intelligence is? Comment below!

(Edit from 2019. I'm not really sure where the sentence about Eat came from, or what I was going with that, but I'm going to leave it in... lol)

Why being gay is most likely in genetics and not a choice

To continue with gay pride month, I have decided to talk about why being gay is not a choice. I will explain why it is not a choice.

Originally I was also going to put in why being gay is not a sin as well, but I will save that for another post. (Sometimes I am just too busy with work, things I want to do, procrastinating and looking at pictures of turtles on the net.)

Being gay is NOT a choice: The following are the reasons why it is not a choice!

○ If being gay was a choice, then why would people allow themselves to get kicked out of their houses by their parents for being gay?

• If being gay is a choice, then why would anyone allow themselves to get bullied, harassed, fired from a job, and EVEN BEATEN TO DEATH for being gay? (Ref: Matthew Sheppard).

¤ Why would someone choose to be discriminated, bullied, shamed, kicked out of their house and just HATED by hundreds of people just for being gay?

♥ If being gay was a choice, gay people, nor gay marriage would really exist, because people would just end up with opposite sex partners. The only way someone would think that you could be attracted to the same sex, is if it was someone's inner feelings. (I'm a gay male, and I legit didn't even know you could be gay, like until I was around 15. The same happened to my friend.)

♠ If being gay was a choice, then there wouldn't be anyone fighting for gay rights. There wouldn't be a reason to fight for something if it wasn't real.

♦ If a straight person were to choose to be gay, it would not be possible. You can not force yourself to actually be sexually attracted to someone if you're not attracted to their gender! If you try to become sexually aroused by a gender you're not attracted to, it will not work, you cannot change your sexuality, there is no way to force your body to be attracted to someone you're not attracted to... it just won't work!

If being gay was a choice, no one would choose it. Why would someone choose to be something, that people hate? That people get fired from their jobs for, or kicked out of their houses? No one would actively choose something, that will have people hate on them, beat them, or say nasty things to them.

Being gay is not a choice and It makes no sense whatsoever as to why someone would think this, no one wakes up in the morning and goes "Today, I'm going to be gay and everyone's going to hate on me, call me nasty words and try to kill me today! Oh what fun!"

Last but not least, there is a recent study about how being gay is actually 40% genetic! Maybe not completely genetic, but almost half way there!  Here are two links about the same study.. "Here" and [Here]
I also found some more links on non gay websites The GaurdianWashington PostLGBTQ Nation
Also some interesting articles on the Huffington Post.  Gay gene paradox,

It's not a choice because it is also how we were made, our genetics created us this way!

Being gay is not a choice, and I know that from experience. When I as growing up, I didn't really have a sexuality, I was just me. Someone who loved video games, anime and anything fantasy.
But as I got older, I automatically assumed I was into women,  because that's what everyone else was into, the opposite gender. I figured that was what I was into just because it's the only thing I knew. (This is why representation in the media MATTERS. SO WE KNOW WE EXIST, AND THAT WE'RE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Straight people who cry over a gay character being in the last two minutes of a show, can shove it so far, they can't poop for a week!)
As much as I tried to like women, it just didn't work. I had no sexual feelings for them at all...
I did have sexual feelings, but for men! At first I didn't like the idea that I was only into the same gender, I for some reason thought it was better to be bisexual. Which I thought I was for a while, despite not being attracted to the opposite sex. Eventually, I knew was only attracted to men and I denied it for a year or so.
The last thing I wanted to be was gay, but eventually life caught up to me, and I finally understood and figured what I was. It took a while for me to get used to it, I hated that I was gay for a few months.
I knew it wasn't a choice, because if it was, I would have easily chosen to be straight! I would have easily been able to be attracted to the opposite gender, but I couldn't, because it is simply impossible to force yourself to be sexually aroused and attracted to a gender you're not attracted to.

My friend Chaco wrote a little snippet 3 years ago...

"The thing is, a lot of people don't realize being gay is the same as being born with Blue Eyes or a tight butt or like having interest in electronics from an early age. Like, enjoying to drink milk when you're only 2.
Basically, it happens WHEN YOU'RE BORN. It's NOT a choice! No one can choose their sexual orientation, it's something we are given by birth."

"The thing is, a lot of people don't realize being gay, is the same as being born with blue eyes, a tight butt, having an interest in electronics at an early age, or enjoying milk when you're only 2. Basically, it happens WHEN YOU'RE BORN, it's NOT a choice! No one can choose their sexual orientation, it's something we are given by birth."

You know what is a choice though? Religion!

Also check out this video.

I do think that sometimes the environment that someone is in can direct someone's sexuality at times though, but rarely.

I do not want to appear as contradicting! However, I do think there are three kinds of gay people...

• Actual people who like the same sex and were born that way.
• People who were traumatized by someone at an early age, that caused the person to become gay. (This has happened to someone before, where they were mentally and physically abused by women.. that it somehow affected them. I've only heard of this happening once.)
• People who are faking it due to the lack of attention from the opposite sex, and therefore "Turn straight". These are the only fake gays and aren't actually attracted to the same sex, they only do it because they just cannot get a date, or they just crave attention.

Chaco, actually had an incident where one of his friends believed that being gay was a choice. It turned out that she had a crush on him, and just didn't want his sexuality to be true, she wanted him to be straight because she liked him!

She ended up dating his step brother by coincidence.

I think people who say being gay is a choice are actually bisexual. Because for them, it's not a choice to be attracted to either gender, but it is a choice for someone to only seek out members of a specific sex because they believe it's wrong to like the same gender.

I honestly cannot stand people who actually think being gay is a choice, I KNOW I DIDN'T CHOOSE TO BE GAY, if it was a choice, I would have chosen to be straight! I didn't even know you could be attracted to the same gender in the first place, let alone somehow have an ability to choose what gender to be attracted to. People who think being gay is a choice, are delusional, and need to look into the skeletons in their closet.

Just because you can't understand something, doesn't mean it's wrong.

My friend Victor is bisexual, and he has his own opinion, he of course does not believe being gay is a choice, but he believes that it is not genetic either. This is what he said..

"Being gay is neither a choice, or a genetic disorder. It is in fact a physical, or mental attraction to the same sex. While it is true that most homosexuals have certain traits.
Very small and very exact, however the human body will respond to almost all types of stimuli if touched erotically especially in certain erogenous areas of the body (read up on certain sexual abuse situation and how others try expound on the victims arousal) however it is the mind that tells us off attraction. You should know that attraction is caused by pheromones we put out, and how others respond to these pheromones. So a homosexual is really just responding to these pheromones that males produce instead of a females. Also one cannot count religion in any argument via that there are other religions and in ancient times homosexuality was more common than weather shifts. But I digress.
While there are heterosexuals that have at times chose live the heterosexual lifestyle that does not include the entire gay population. For instance a female that will engage in homoerotic contact with another female for her significant others viewing pleasure, or for another males attention or even male and female actors in the adult industry that perform homosexual sex as part of their job.
Also the whole gay gene isn't what people mean by born gay, but if you want to say there might be, than bring up the fact that most homosexuals have certain physical features that seem to match and coincide with other homosexuals, and no not that horrible lisp dear god, but certain eye-shape, body type, both tiny and big, its not exact but pretty close. So remember attraction is caused by pheromones, and how we respond, things like homosexuality and heterosexuality is actually all about your nature vs nurture, because before we did gender-base and sexualize most societies were very sexually open. Well except when it came to children that was non negotiable as I understand. The old native Americans called it two soul, a person born with the soul or spirit of a man and woman in one body when it came to homosexuality. When it changed I have no idea."

I'd like to make an UPDATE! As of 6/28/2014.
I always post my blog posts on facebook, and one of my facebook friends saw the post and commented on it. They believe being gay is a choice, and I felt the need to add this part to the post to better clarify any unresolved issues.

When people say being gay is a choice, I feel attacked to an extent. Because basically what the other person is saying is that I am lying. Like what I feel on the inside towards the same gender, is some sort of lie. Like I am making up my sexual attraction towards men. It is not a choice, I did not choose this. But saying that it is a choice is like saying that I am lying to everyone that I know, like what I really feel on the inside is fake. As if it's all made up, that how I truly feel on the inside is just some lie that I made up and tell people. Well, let me tell you.. IT'S NOT! I have no feelings for women at all! Women are people to me, that's it. But when I see a cute guy, I get a fuzzy feeling inside of me, and I want to get to know him, I want to fall in love with him.. and that only happens with men. I can't choose to be attracted to men, if I were to choose, ANYONE could feel a fuzzy feeling for anyone!! Plain, and Simple.
Another thing though... OBVIOUSLY I DO NOT HAVE FREE WILL TO CHOOSE WHICH GENDER I AM ATTRACTED TO, OR THIS GOD DAMN BLOG POST WOULDN'T EXIST IN THE FIRST DAMN PLACE!!! Why would I make a post about the gay gene, or being gay not being a choice, if I thought it was a choice? I made the blog post so confused, Curious, Ignorant, close minded individuals would understand that gay people aren't making shit up. Why the hell are we going to go through all of this suffering from bigots, and haters if we could just choose to like the opposite sex? People get harassed, and beaten for being gay. If they could choose, they'd choose to be straight, and they wouldn't get harassed anymore. I don't get why it's such a hard concept to grasp?

The only lie I ever told was forcing myself to be attracted to women! I chose to be straight at first because that's what everyone else is attracted to! Being straight was the only thing that I chose, but only for a while. I thought I was attracted to women. I sure as hell didn't choose to be gay, but one time I chose to be straight, and guess what sugar lumps, it didn't work. Because baby I was born this way,  I KNOW that I was born this way because I NEVER chose anything in my life that I like. I never chose my favorite color, or my favorite flavor of ice cream, my favorite video game. If anything, they all chose me, my attraction to men I did not choose, and I didn't want to be gay when I started having feelings for men in the first place, so I would obviously be straight if it was a choice. Being gay, straight, bi ..etc.. it's just like being attracted to certain members of the gender you like.. you aren't attracted to all of them, you're attracted to some of them.. but you NEVER choose which people you are attracted to, and that's just what it is like.

LGBTQIA terminology

Gather round' children! Class is about to start!

I found out that some of my friends at work did not know what Asexual meant, or at-least had the wrong idea of what it is supposed to mean! So I thought to myself, I said "Babby Sue", what If I put a list of terminology together that allows people to have a better understanding of particular words explaining a persons sexual or non sexual identity?"  (PS. I don't really call myself Babby Sue, I just thought that was funny). That is how I came up with this weeks blog post, in which I post bloggity blogs, of bloggness!

This week, I talk about the LGBTQIA community, and the terms along with it!

First off, I am sure you're scratching your head asking "What the flying flapjacker, is the LGBTQIA community?!"

Well gurl, I'mma tell you now....

LGBTQIA+, is the complete acronym. Usually it's referred to as LGBT, and in total the acronym stands for the following.

• Lesbian

• Gay
• Bisexual
• Transgender
• Questioning/Queer
• Intersex
• Asexual
 • + = Anything else
Some people consider the A as in Ally, which stands for a heterosexual who is for the LGBTQIA community, and is someone who helps fight for gay rights. This makes no sense, since straight people are straight, and do not belong in the LGBT community, because they are not LGBT. A is for asexual. Since then, more letters have been added in the ever increasing alphabet, of the LGBT community.
I'd explain the other parts now, but I will be explaining them shortly anyways.

Sexuality

Sexuality is not in black and white, it comes in all colors, shapes, sizes and flavors (Such as lemon).
It may seem pretty basic, but sexuality is quite fluid and it's everywhere, all over the place and not always that simple to figure out.

First you have the three most basic and well known sexualities.

Heterosexuality - A Heterosexual is someone who has sexual attraction towards the opposite gender.

Bisexuality - A Bisexual is someone who has the sexual attraction to both genders, male and female.

Homosexuality - A Homosexual is someone who has sexual attraction towards the same gender.

Bisexuality is very fluid, there are plenty of people who not just black and white.
Some people are mostly attracted to women and sometimes men, or mostly attracted to men and sometimes women. Some are just attracted to both genders equally, it varies per person.
There are people who will be all over every person of the opposite gender, but will find just one person of the same sex that they are crazy for! Vice versa too.
I knew two people, a boy and a girl, non affiliated with each other. One was a gay dude, and he loved men, but one day, he met a girl and fell in love with her and just couldn't be without her.
The same thing happened to my lesbian friend, out of no where met this guy and they are/were inseparable. I do not know them anymore, so I don't know how they are or if they are still together.
You also hear about someone who was straight, but one day found someone of the same sex and just fell in love.
As well as stories about someone who was in a heterosexual relationship for 20 years and just one day, met someone of the same sex and just went for them instead. Anything can happen!
Two of my best friends are bisexual, and they both gear towards men. One of them is sexually and romantically into men, and finds women attractive in a non sexual way, he doesn't usually  want to be with a woman romantically..
While the other one is into men and women, but gears more towards men.
You also hear about lot's of celebrities having man crushes or women crushes, I would say they are mostly heterosexual, but (Possibly/Potentially) slightly bisexual.

These are quite possibly the most common sexualities known, but there are plenty more where that came from!

Fun Fact: Heterosexuals and Homosexuals are actually in the minority, the fact of the matter is, most people are bisexual, even if a little bit. Back in medieval times, there was a king who only liked women, and everyone thought it was the weirdest thing, because mostly everyone else was bisexual! I forgot which king it was, which is a shame because it just sounds like I am taking non existent history out of thin air. (If anyone knows about this, let me know! I'd love to add more to this post about it!)

The kinsey scale is a useful tool for grasping the heterosexual, bisexual and homosexual scale. Source

0 Exclusively heterosexual
1 Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 Equally heterosexual and homosexual
4 Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5 Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
6 Exclusively homosexual
X No socio-sexual contacts or reactions

As for me, I would say I am 100% 6. What are you?
Unless of course, you fit somewhere else!

Other sexualities include...

Asexuality - An Asexual is a person who does not have sexual attraction towards anyone. (There are other forms of Asexuality, that I will get into later.)

Pansexuality (Also known as Omnisexuality) - Pansexuality has always been a difficult sexuality to explain, it is similar to bisexuality, but slightly different. Bisexuals are sexually attracted to men and women, where as pansexual people, ( are not attracted to pans, that is in fact a myth!) we will get to people who are into pans later.. but that is not now...
Pansexuals are attracted to not only men and women, but every gender! This includes everyone in between and out between..
This includes men, women, transgendered people, intersex, gender queer and androgynous people.
Another part that one could include, is that pansexuals don't see gender, they see love.. and that is pretty important!

Polysexuality - Is the attraction to many genders, but not all of them.

Demisexuality - Demisexual is a more open term for asexuality, and a assure you, it has nothing to do with Demi Lavato. :P
Demisexuality is a lack of attraction (Or a fleeting attractiong) towards anyone, unless they form an emotional bond with another person. They won't find many people attractive, and it may be hard for them to be aroused by someone, until they form that connection with them.

Some other forms of asexuality could be that someone is asexual, but they like to have sex. Or it could mean that someone is not interested in sex, but would like to fall in love, it's a wide range of different combinations of asexuality with a pinch of sexuality.

Gray-asexual - Is someone who experiences sexual attraction very rarely, they're basically in between asexual and sexual.

Queer - Is an umbrella term that can mean so many different things, it can mean heterosexual, homosexual, asexual, bisexual, polysexual... etc.. it's basically a word to use if someone would rather not define themselves as one sexuality.

Now that we have an understanding of sexualities, let's touch base with some other types of sexual preferences.

Chronophilia Chronophilia is attraction towards different groups of age. In this list, I'm only adding three Chronophilia's, since the others are illegal, and wrong. For more information on Chronophilia, check out the wikipedia page.

Teleiophilia - Is the attraction towards adults.
Mesophilia - The attraction towards middle aged adults.
Gerontophilia - Is the attraction towards the elderly. (Basically, the only type of people that will like the shock site Lemon Party.) (DO NOT LOOK IT UP!!! Well, unless you're into the elderly that is...)

 Androphilia and Gynephilia

Androphilia - Is the attraction towards males  and or masculinity.
Gynephilia - Is the attraction towards females and or femininity.
Ambiphilic - Is the attraction towards males/masculinity and females/femininity.

Autogynephilia and AutoAndrophilia

AutoAndrophilia - Is the sexual arousal of someone imagining themselves as a man.
Autogynephilia   Is the sexual arousal of someone imagining themselves as a woman.

Sex and Gender Identity

Sex - Is the biological parts of someone's body, sex organs, chromosones, what sex someone was born as, male or female.
Gender - Is the inner feelings of what gender they feel they are, man or woman. Gender does not equal sex. It is what you feel on the inside.
Man (Male)- Someone who identifies themselves with the male gender.
Woman (Female)- Someone who identifies themselves with the female gender.

Here are two videos about gender.

Transgender - Is someone who has become the other gender, that they feel is correct.
Transexual - Is the state, or gender expression of not being the correct sex, someone who wishes and becomes the gender they want to be, biologically and mentally.

Cisgender - The opposite of Transgender. The persons feelings of being the sex they were born as, and not wanting to be another gender. So if you were born male, and are not transgender, you are cisgender.
Intersex - Is someone whose reproductive, or sexual anatomy do not fit the usual male or female definitions.
Genderqueer - Is an umbrella term for genders, they may feel male and female at the same time, or neither.. etc..
Pangender - Is a word used to describe someone who feels they do not fit into either gender categories, or even more than one gender category.
Third Gender - Similar to Pangender, but instead the person involved does not feel like they are female or male... but another gender.
Androgynous - Is someone who has both male and female characteristics and appearances.
Transvestiteism and Crossdressing - Transvestites are people who dress and act like another gender, the same can be applied to crossdressing, except it sometimes carries a lighter meaning of just wearing another gender's clothes.
Masculinity - Is a set of characteristics associated with the male sex.
Femininity - Is a set of characteristics associated with the female sex.
Questioning - Is someone who is unsure and questioning either their sexuality, gender and or sexual identity.

LGBT Terms

Heteronormativity - Is the view of people falling into heterosexual societal norms. For example, someone who is heteronormative sees heterosexuality as the only normal sexuality, and never thinks about other sexualities. They will also assume a person is heterosexual, because of their sex, and ppearance.
Heterosexism - Is an attitude that favors heterosexuality and discriminates against homosexual, bisexual and other sexualities.
Homonormativity - Is the view of people falling into homosexual societal norms. For example, someone who is homonormative sees homosexuality as the only normal sexuality and never thinks about other sexualities.
Homosexism -  Is an attitude that favors homosexuality and discriminates against heterosexual, bisexual and other sexualities
Homophobia/Lesphobia - Is the dislike and prejudice of homosexual people.
Biphobia - Is the dislike and prejudice of bisexual people.
Heterophobia - Is the dislike and prejudice of heterosexual people.
Transphobia - Is the dislike and prejudice of transgendered people.

Did you know?

Homophobia is more often seen in individuals who have unrealized attraction to the same sex, and grew up in a family where homosexuality is seen as "Wrong", and "Evil". This is why any day of the week you find out about some anti-gay politician, secretly had a Grindr account the whole time, and was hooking up with guys the entire time!A Thought
If you ask me, anyone who says that "Being gay is a choice". Just has to be a closeted bisexual, because then they are "choosing", not to realize their same sex attractions! It's the only logical thing.
