What color is the dress?

There's a current topic that is raging all over online, it's a simple picture of a dress. The problem? Some people are saying it's White and Gold, while other people are saying it's Blue and Black. Doesn't make sense right?

Some people say White and Gold, other people say Black and Blue. Some even say Periwinkle and Brown! quite a few are even saying it's changing colors right in front of them!

What is my verdict? Well, when I saw the dress on my sisters phone, I thought it was Periwinkle and Brown. But when I saw it on my computer, it was Blue and Black. My friend, and cousin both saw White and Gold, while my cousin's boyfriend saw Blue and Black. After my friend looked at it again, it was Blue and Black, and he asked what sorcery this was!?

The bottom line, what is the color of the dress?

Actually, the dress is on sale, it comes in a few colors, White and Black, Red and Black, Blue and Black and Pink and Black.

It's actually Blue and Black, there isn't one with White and Gold...

http://www.romanoriginals.co.uk/invt/70931?colour=royal-blue

There are a few theories however...

Someone did some photoshop investigations.

"I checked the color on an Adobe Color pallet. Here are the Results:

-The Lace is mainly: Medium Gray-Orange Solid Color

-The Rest of the dress is mainly: Medium Gray-Royal Blue Solid Color

But also, there are many different colored pixels within each section. For Example: The Lace contains Orange, Brown, Black, Red, and Yellow. The Rest of the dress also contains: Cyan, Purple, White, Royal Blue, and Navy Blue. I believe is is all about how your brain processes the color arrangement within the dress (How it processes the colors combined as a whole)."

Another person said it has to do with our eyes and how we perceive something, we all have retinas and that's what allows us to see color. In theory it could change how one person see's something and how another person does, this also adds to the theory, do we all see the same red or blue as you do.. or as do I?

Another theory is that it has to do with our emotions, if something bag has happened recently, we'll perceive it as Black and Blue, but if we're all good, we'll see it as Gold and White.

The reason for why everyone's seeing differently could be one of the above, it may be one I didn't mention. It could be something else entirely, but it's up for you to decide.

Do you know how to tell it how it is?

I don't know about you, but for someone who is reserved and quiet in the real life, it can be very hard to speak up for yourself when someone says something that is rude.
Whenever someone says something mean, hurtful or untruthful, I would love to speak up, but my problem is that I am too shy to say anything, or just don't know what to say. On top of that, I usually don't know what to say until it's too late!

I don't know if anyone else has that problem, but I sure do!

There were plenty of times I was insulted, or offended by someone because they were being very nasty to me. But I never said anything because I was too shy, or because I just didn't know what to say yet. Of course, I wouldn't think of what to say until it was too late, from a minute later to even three days later. For some reason, coming up with a good comeback, especially a witty one, just takes time for me. (Usually)
It's annoying because, there are lot's of people that I know that really do need to be put in their place!

I find there are times where people assume things, when it's actually incredibly off course. There is a manager that I have at my job that is always assuming things, and he's very rude. Every time he's wrong, he just accuses me, or other people of things when that's not what happened. My problem is I don't know what to say when something happens, so I never say anything. Even though I also have some witty come backs such as "Not only do you have a dick, but you act like one too" or "Hello captain dick face of the S.S. Jerk off!" (Okay, so maybe those are a bit much...)

If you have problems telling people how it is, I think the best way is to rehearse certain lines and comebacks on your free time and then try to remember them at the right situations. But also be aware to check on people's emotions, and feelings if it seems like they're getting ready to say something negative.

Do you have this problem too? If so, tell everyone what has happened to you? If you don't have this problem, tell everyone what you have said to people that do need to be put in their place.

Formspring memory lane

Today is memory lane day!

So here's the story about how I got into formspring in the first place.

Formspring was a question, and answer website that started in 2009. By 2013, it got changed to Spring.me, which in my opinion, and countless others, was a very porno type of name.
Even though it became Spring.me, I still call it Formspring.

But the way I got into Formspring, is very much of a domino effect.

This all started back in 2010..

I was on a forum called Wober, and someone made a topic about a cool new ask, and answer site called formspring. I joined in January 2010, just to advertise my forum. My advertisements weren't going anywhere, so I just left.

Fast forward to a few months later in the summer...

I was on bing, orbviously, looking for a sugar daddy. (jk lol)

I typed in something gay, and I found a yahoo answers question. One person who answered, said something really homophobic. I wanted to "thumb down" their answer, but it wouldn't let me because I wasn't a "level two". So I decided, I would become a level two on yahoo answers so I could thumb down a negative question!
Well, I got really attached to Yahoo answers, I was on it all the time. I eventually became a level three, but by the time I was a level two, I had forgotten about the answer I wanted to thumb down.
I lost the link, and forgot about it, which is funny since the only reason I used Yahoo Answers, was for that purpose.  I ended up making a friend named Jye, he was a cool bisexual Asian guy around my age, but younger. I think he was 18, or 19 and I was 20. He liked anime, video games all that stuff. I found him on yahoo answers, and he had a formspring. I figured I'd stop by again, and say hi to him on there.
Jye was a blast to talk to! And eventually I made friends with a girl named Teri Pterodactyl, who was also cool. Teri was also a jerk at the same time, and was also friends with two gay boys,  "Outer Spacer" and "Noel Joel".
Joel, was a shy kid who likes anime, and video games, especially Legend of Zelda. Outer Spacer, was an energetic kid, but also kind of a brat.

Teri and I would have conversations about Jye, because he just kind of disappeared!
She was telling me that he was suicidal, and that she's worried about him! She linked me to one of his yahoo answers questions.
It doesn't let you see his answer/questions anymore, but for research purposes, his old profile is here. I advise anyone, not to message this account, as if he is still around, not to pester him. This is just for research use.  account.

One day, Jye vanished from Formspring, Teri and I were worried. The only good thing is that his account got disabled, and went back and forth from disabled/non-disabled. Teri mentioned you can only disable if you do it, Formspring doesn't just delete accounts, especially not for a reason. There was still hope that Jye was alive, but unfortunately we never heard from him again. It was upsetting to me because he was really cool, and fun to talk to.
Despite Jye's disappearance, I still got along, and talked with Teri, Joel and Spacer, we made a bit of a four musketeers.
I was later introduced to my friend Braylon Bay, who I talked to for a long time. (I ended up blocking him on facebook, because he would only comment on my facebook posts when it was about politics, and was always negative about it.) he was one of Teri's friends, and actually doesn't remember her anymore, and doesn't realize we met through her!

Joel knew this bisexual guy I can't remember the name of, but I want to say his name was "Mystery" or something similar to Thumper. Him and I had about the same taste in men, we both love older muscular guys. Last I heard from him, he ended up with a flamboyant guy, he went up and vanished too.
Since I was having Formspring fever, I had also used FS to find my real life friend Toche, and ask her some questions,as well as my online friend Thais.

Eventually, me and teri broke it off, because she was turning into a jerk. She was accusing me of posting "disturbing images". It was two anime girls with a birthday cake, and she thought it was pedo worthy. She was the only one that thought that too, when I showed it to other people, they didn't think anything of it. So I think it was her, who came up with weird thoughts, and then got mad at me for posting the picture. She was all.. I know you're gay, but that's too far. I was like what are you even talking about?! I was over how rude she was to me constantly, and that was just the last straw, so I told her I didn't appreciate how she was talking to me.
Teri wasn't sure if she was Asexual, or a Lesbian. So it's quite possible it was just her,if she had any feelings for girls  maybe she just saw it as weird, because to her, that picture was MORE than just two grills with a cake.

Later on I met more friends, ericcartman, likes south park, and K pop. Pan Tokki likes anime, IDBATMAN, Jack L  likes anime, and works with a company that helps graphic designers jobs. Lord Sir knight from england, Chocomax who likes using Hitler as her pictures as a joke, all whom I have on facebook and stay in touch with.
As well as two asexuals, who are unfortunately the only asexuals I've ever met knowingly. Which is also sad since I have yet to meet an asexual in real life.

I also became friends with a kid named Ronan, he was 15 when I first talked to him, and somehow he's already like 21 and I'm just like.. they grow up so fast.. *tear*... Although I may or may not be jealous that I'm like 5 years older than him and he has already had boyfriends before and I'm here collecting dust all. I've never even been kissed, but anyways, Logan is hilarious. Definitely one of the funniest people that I know the existence of, he's always posting funny things on facebook.
Ronan and I became great friends and we have a rare friendship where we bash each other and call each other ho's, sluts and puta's (Oh my!)...
Unfortunately, we slowly stopped talking around 2015, and are no longer in contact anymore.

Eventually, Outer Spacer and Joel had a fight, Joel is kind of a creeper.. He loves twinks, especially in tank tops, but he was being too creepy with Spacer, writing love poems and saving pictures of Spacer on his computer.

..creeeeeepy..

Spacer even got in touch with the local authorities, the cops actually came to Joels house! Although nothing happened,  I do hope that Joel learned something from this!
He's a good kid, he's great with English. One of the few people online that I know that always make sure to use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling! He just has to stay away from the creeper side, and everything will be great!

Mystery, Teri, and I were like... WOAH. But we also though that Spacers reaction was rather harsh, and Mystery was really mad at Spacer. (Even though I didn't talk to Teri anymore at this point, we did reconnect shortly about this incident)

Ronan and Joel spoke for a while, Joel is afraid everyone thinks he's annoying. Ronan don't care.. nothing bothers him, except for Michelle Bachman, but who doesn't that woman bother?!

....anyways...

I also met a girl named Mystique, she was so much fun to talk to! She also became friends with Ronan as well. She got me into the show Supernatural, as she had showed some gay themed gifs of the show that piqued my interest in it.

Mystique was in a confused state, she thought she was bisexual. She had a thing for hats, and talking about peeing...
Her and I share a similar taste for black comedy, some things were just so gruesome but we loved, or agreed with it.

Eventually, I became friends with lot's and lot's of anime fans on the Formspring. As did Braylon.
I met some interesting people, such as Teen Team, who I have on facebook, he has his own comic and tends to have a more offensive taste of humor, as do I.

Milky, I had also became friends with a bit earlier too, she got in with all of the anime kids too and kept getting banned for stupid reasons. lol

There was a particular feud with two girls Ketchup and Cosgrow, I don't know what happened. But I was upset with one of them because she didn't like to answer me very often, and there were cues that she didn't really want to talk to me, so I was like #ByeFelicia

Eventually, I got my friends Chaco, Sage and Queen on Formspring, even though they didn't use it that much. Chaco, of course had to go on Teri's profile, and continuously spam her as to why she had been mean to me, even though it was at least a year later...XD

Eventually, Formspring was getting too addicting, and I was procrastinating way too much! I was trying to leave., so I'd leave, and came back, as did Mystique. She'd leave for long periods of time, and I was so happy when she would come back, she would literally make my day when she came back on formspring.
I wasn't too much of a fan of her friend "Betsy with the bad hair" though, she was ignorant and thinks people should have straight pride day... liek gurl seriously.. ¬_¬ And just in case you're wondering... we don't need straight pride for the reason below...

After Mystique left for a while, she came back, and I loved that she came back, I was excited. However, it didn't last long, Mystique started changing. She started to become very nasty, not only to me, but everyone else too.
Eventually it got to the point where I was once excited to talk to her, and eventually, I dreaded talking to her. She would put me down, or just be really nasty, and would just put me in a bad mood. I eventually broke it off with her, and It took me like four days to recover. I was so depressed because she had been such a fun, and interesting person, and somehow over night she became this intolerable asshole

I have a few blog posts about her, and I used the surname Mystique.. as seen here http://hotspotsportal.blogspot.com/search/label/The%20Mystique%20Series

After I broke it off with Mystique, I became friend hungry. I wanted some new friends!
I particularly became friends with two people, SexyLexi.. which I don't know why she chose that name.. and Lord Of Storm's End, who is a friend of IDBATMAN.

Libby is actually the girlfriend of Braylon, which is how we had met. An avid anime fan and cosplayer.
Lord of Storms End is a friend of IDbatman, who I had been following on formspring and chatted with from time to time. He shares the same interests for sci fi and fatasy shows like Supernatural and Teen Wolf, and we're both gay, so we hit it off pretty well.

Eventually, Mystique wanted to apologize after 4 months, and I took her apology. But it wasn't the same, we just naturally did not talk that often anymore, we couldn't be friends like we used to, it just wasn't the same anymore.
Eventually I left formspring for good, even though I may pop on to answer a question here or there, I stay away from it because it was so addicting, and I need to do more important things in my life.

Mystique had said something that I find sweet, when I made my goodbye question to everyone on formspring..

"For the best.

Have a nice life baby"

After that, I bid adieu.. and to think that this was all because of one person saying something ignorant on yahoo answers that lead me to all of this, all of the friends, the fights, the fun I shared.. and the addiction of being on that site, last year, I closed an interesting chapter on my life too...

(This next part, where I name people. Isn't really needed in the blog, but I'll keep it in for nostalgia's sake)
I still have a few people on facebook, including. Lord of Storms end, IDBATMAN, Sexy Lexi,  Ronan, Joel, Jack, Ericcartman, Pan, TeenTeam, and of course my other friends Thais, Toche, Chaco and Queen. (Sage doesn't exist, he's actually Chaco, the real Sage prefers not to go online that much anymore.)
(As of 2019, Ronan deleted me on facebook years back. Which was rude, we were good friends! I don't really talk to anyone from there anymore, but most of the people right above, I have on FB. I really only talk to my friend Van now, and he's close friends with IDBATMAN, who wants to be anonymous. So I still talk to them.)

This was all made because Lord of Storm's End, Van.. because we were discussing something and I was like.. oh man I have a nostalgia boner now!!! I have to write!!!!

Cool IOS & Android games? Part 2

Here is part two of IOS & Android games that I have found interesting!
This is a part of a series.
Cool IOS Games Part...
• Part 1Part 2 •

Unrelated drawing by me.

Dawn of Magic - Is an old school RPG type with some new elements that haven't really been used before, it's a nice game, although I haven't really played it recently. It has a dating sim component in it, which has turned me off to it. You have the option of the male hero dating one of the three female characters in the game, one which is a maid, and I don't understand why she can't wear normal clothes. (Nevermind, I know why. Straight men are horny, and are not considerate of people who aren't into girls.)
It has an interesting battle system, but it'd be nice if the hero could date a guy!
My Rating: C+

Dungeon Link - A very interesting game, in battles, you link characters to designated spots on the map. If you pass through an enemy, it will attack them with their abilities. If say, a healer character passes through an ally, it can also heal them. There's plenty of characters to collect, and it has a unique gameplay system.
The only problem with the game, is that it crashes frequently, and can be frustrating!
(As I re-edit this post in 2019, I don't remember that much about it. But I know I LOVED this game!!)
My Rating: A-

Long Story - Is a cute visual novel based game, it's about the main character (Who you name, and the hero is genderless, so they are whichever gender you want them to be) Who goes to a new school and has to deal with their school life, you also have the option of romancing one of a few characters, two guys, two girls, no one or the man in the chicken suit! XD
It's not finished yet, but the first chapter was fun to play.
My Rating: B+

Monster Strike - Is a cute game with a pinball kind of battle style to it, you summon monsters to help fight your enemies. Like many of the summoner games, you summon characters to aid you. When in a battle, the characters change into a sphere like motion and you use your finger to direct where they get fling to hit other enemies.
Many characters are named after incredibly obvious things, puns, popular names and historical figures, which gives it's own flair to the game. You have Masamune, a female samurai, a bull named Krewl, a character named Shiva, and to a ice-ball monster named BRR (Very clever, we all see what you did there).
Although I think it's weird that even the human characters are considered monsters, it's still an incredibly fun game with a catchy main theme that you will either love or go insane over (Which I recently realized, the boss battle is a variation of this theme).
The characters all have speaking roles when using their special attacks as well, so you may enjoy that aspect, or not.
My Rating: A

Mystery Room - Fans of  Professor Layton will love Mystery Room, it stars a Detective and Detective in training, they go around solving mysteries. The first three cases are free, but if you like the game you can purchase the other stories to solve.
My Rating: N/A

Shards Of Magic - Is, in my opinion, the mobile version of the Suikoden series. Shards of Magic has an unlockable 6 character party system, a variety of characters with different abilities. It has sassy characters, and even a rune system that the party can use as a whole. (I believe 4 runes can be used at a time in battle)
It's such a fun game, and feels like a real RPG for the mobile.
My Rating: A+

Spellfall - Is a medieval match it game with a twist; you aren't matching the same symbols for no reason, you're actually in battle and you have to match one of five elemental signs to use a spell against an enemy.
The game is really fun and really interesting, there is Fire, Water, Earth, Lightning and Cold (Which I thought was wind for a while.. for some reasons games leave out wind.. it's like Wind is a real element in a couple of cultures... not "Cold".. that's not a thing... and if anything it's water.)
When you match three of an element up, a small elemental spell is used. You have a certain amount of turns to use before the monster you're fighting attacks you.... The more you're able to match the more powerful and there are also certain things that appear that can increase damage; for example, elements that are glowing will allow you to use a powerful spell against the enemy. Sometimes an element sign appears with arrows, those will turn all symbols in the row that element and will cast a powerful attack.
The downside with Spellfall is that the game goes from zero to ten thousand in a minute, monsters become really strong and everything gets expensive.. and the only way to win is to use real money to pay for them.....
My Rating: B+

Terra Battle - An IOS game by SquareEnix, it's a tactical card type of game with many rpg elements and lot's of characters to recruit. I haven't played much of the game, but it's very interesting and has lot's of cool characters to recruit! My problem is that I don't know how to play it that well yet.. I didn't understand how to play it that well... XD
My Rating: N/A

Warriors - A very popular ISO game, it's a cool game with a different kind of battle system that is more like a music game where you hit the button at a certain time.. You hit the button on the red line for a powerful blow and the further away it is, the less powerful it is, using a special ability has a similar function.
There are plenty of characters to summon, but it takes a while (If you're a Free to play person) to get more characters. Each character has an element, Fire, Water, Wind and Earth. (This is about the only IOS game that got the elements right lol), each character is weak to a certain element. All of the characters are based off of actual people that were great warriors in history, such as Vlaad the impaler (You know, the guy who Dracula is based off of.). I just hope they have Fu Hao, she's awesome! I totally did an art project on her once!
My Rating: B-

Cool IOS & Android games?

Ever since I got an Iphone, I started playing some IOS & Android games. Although there are lot's of simple, and "crappy" ones. If you look hard enough, you can find some interesting ISO games that actually have more to it than just simple gameplay, and having to use real money to buy everything!
(I'm looking at you ZYNGA with your Ayakashi Ghost Guild scheme!!! I'm onto you!!!)

This is a part of a series.
Cool IOS Games Part...
• Part 1Part 2 •

Unrelated Image by me.

So far  (In alphabetical order) I've played...
I'm also going to give a score, A-F, A being the best, and F is the worst.

Ayakashi: Ghost Guild - A card game that is very hard to play because you need to pay with real money to get good characters, but it has nice artwork and can be fun. Until everyone (Other Players) steals your sealstones, which you use to summon new characters. It's fun at first, but it gets frustrating after a while! (I would rate it higher if it wasn't so frustrating with buying stuff to win.)
My Rating: C-

Adventure Bar - I didn't play this game that much yet, but you do have to buy it for like 3.99. But if you've ever played a cooking mini game in one of the Suikoden games, you will love this game. The whole theme is to fight monsters to get ingredients to cook. (I didn't get far into it, so I'm not giving it a rating)
My Rating: N/A

Band of Monsters - A fun Monster collecting RPG by Kemco, it brings all of the nostalgia from the old RPG games on the ISO. It's like Pokemon meets old school rpg's, and although it's very simple, it's just very fun and cute and has nice music! You really don't need to buy anything for the game, just if you want some special things.
My Rating: A+

Boomerang Blast - The makers of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger made a cute minigame that is similar to a minigame in Kya Dark Lineage, where you take the boomerang and hit the moving targets as they go by. (It's a fun game, I just wish there was more to it!)
My Rating: B

Brave Frontier - A very fun game by Gumi, it has a Suikoden vibe to it. Characters are thrown into the world of summoners who are out to defeat the fallen gods; you go around worlds gaining new characters to summon. Like Suikoden there is a 6 character party system, there are plenty of interesting characters to collect.
You can pay for things to help you summon more characters, but Gumi is very generous! I do want to purchase one of their packs just because I love the game so much!
My Rating: A

Chain Chronicle - Another more recent game by Gumi, with an even bigger Suikoden vibe to it. Characters go across the land finding new allies to help fight against the Black Army, you can even go on character quests to get to know the characters better, there are plenty of interesting characters... from masked assassins to clumsy witches... there are even characters that fit the Trickster and Narcissist roles of the Suikoden games.
My Rating: A

Crusaders Quest - An RPG game about rescuing the goddess of nature, with the help of the next Goddess of nature in training!
The interesting thing is that Crusaders Quest has a character similar to the Power Rangers, as does Band of Monsters. (As I re-edit this post in 2019, I don't remember the game well, and am not going to give it a score)
My Rating: N/A
